Stevenson Memorial Hospital’s supervision has officially
ended by order of the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
The end of supervision marks an important transition for
Stevenson Memorial Hospital and the return of full governance authority to the
Board of Directors.
Throughout the period of supervision, our staff, physicians
and volunteers have remained focused on providing safe, high-quality care to
our patients and families. We are grateful for their continued commitment.
For nearly a century, SMH has been providing care to the communities
it serves. As we move forward, we will continue our journey together, building
on our proud history and creating a strong future for our community.
