New CNE & VP Clinical Services Joining SMH Team
We are pleased to announce that we have successfully hired our next CNE and VP of Clinical Services. Thank you to the members of the selection committee, who helped recruit our newest member of the Senior Leadership Team. The selection committee had representation from Nursing, Human Resources, Patient and Family Advisory, as well as the Senior Leadership Team. Please join us in welcoming Julia Sek to her new position, effective April 4th, 2022.
Julia brings 18 plus years of experience in Strategic Leadership and Nursing, while possessing a Health Sciences (BHSc) and a Masters Certificate in Healthcare Management. In addition to these academic achievements, she is an active member of the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) and the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO).
She has significant experience working in hospitals and healthcare organizations such as Georgian Bay General Hospital, West Parry Sound Health Centre, St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
We welcome Julia and look forward to her joining the Senior Leadership Team in April!
