Meet Amy

Meet Amy – Emergency Department Clinical Coordinator

In the eight months since Amy Alberi joined Stevenson Memorial Hospital, her positive approach and “can do” attitude has made a big impact on staff and patients alike.

As the Emergency Department (ED) Clinical Coordinator, Amy is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day flow of the ED, helping to identify any potential bottlenecks in the flow, analyzing the daily data to see if improvements can be made in key metrics (i.e. wait times, length of stay, EMS offload times), staff scheduling, education and the hiring of nurses in the ED.

In addition, Amy also helps to certify nurses for triage training and she recently received her CPI instruction so that she can train other staff members in non-violent crisis intervention.

“I love it here. It’s like a little family,” says Amy. “You get to know people really well. Everyone is just around the corner and eager to help. We have limited resources, but we do excellent work with what we have. And the reason for that is that we all work together so well to make sure patients are getting the care they deserve in a timely manner.”

Thank you to Amy and all of our staff members for fostering a warm and positive team environment. Your dedication and teamwork is appreciated and valued.
