Job Summary
As part of the interdisciplinary team, the RPN is responsible and accountable for providing quality patient/family focused nursing care in accordance with the hospital’s philosophy, policies and standards of care of Stevenson Memorial Hospital, the College of Nurses (CNO) and all relevant legislation.
Qualifications and Experience
-
Registered and in good standng with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Practical Nurse.

Current BCLS.
-
CC1 or committment to complete within six (6) months of hire.

Medication course.
-
Management of Aggressive Behaviour or equivalent preferred.

Certificate in Gentle Persuasive Approach preferred.

Recent experience working in a medicine/surgical unit and/or emergency preferred.

Regular Part-time Commitment: No set schedule and must be available to work the following:

at least two (2) scheduled tours per week (12 hour shifts)
-
at least one (1) weekend in two (2), where applicable this may include two (2) consecutive weekends

all shifts (days, nights) where applicable.
Wages: $30.01 to $31.89 /hour plus 14% in lieu of benefits (10% if in HOOPP)_OPSEU collective agreement
