Paediatrician
The candidate must be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, licensed for independent practice in Ontario and able to start their own office practice off site, in the community. The hospital has HOCC stipend for Paediatrics and would value the addition of paediatricians who will respond to the ER and Birthing Unit when needed. However, there is no capacity for inpatient paediatric care at the hospital.

ER Physicians
For Locum and permanent positions.
- AFA in place.
- Currently staffed with family physicians, PGY3 is not a requirement but experience is an asset.
- Approximately 30,000 visits each year.
- General Surgery, Obstetrics and Anaesthesia available 24/7 for back up.
- Second ER physician on call if patients need to be transferred out.
- Air ambulances utilized when necessary.

Three clinics have immediate openings. Two are part of an FHO - one located in Alliston, one in Tottenham, in the community's south end closer to the GTA. Both are on EMR.
The other clinic immediately in need of a family physician is in Angus and does not have EMR.
The Alliston Family Health Team will have openings in their new building in 2014.
