Part time Staff Scheduler

Reporting to the Clinical Managers and Human Resources, the Staff Scheduler is responsible for the complete scheduling process up to and including payroll utilizing the QHR system.  This includes master schedule development and maintenance, preparing rotational schedules, replacing staff, accurate data entry and accurate payroll preparation and entry. All staffing and scheduling processes are completed in accordance with SMH and/or union rules and policies.  The scheduler works as part of a team with on-going communication and collaboration with staff and managers.

Requirements:

Education:

  •  Community College Diploma in HR, Payroll or Business is preferred

 

Experience:

  • Experience with a computerized scheduling program required (QHR preferred).
  • Minimum 2-3 years recent relevant experience in Staffing/Scheduling.
  • Payroll coding experience required
  • Previous Experience in a Hospital Setting an Asset
